Keeana Kee “Tik Tok”: The Ultimate Summer Anthem Groover City
Bodam Project kicks open the door with Niente – a track glazed with sweat, smoke, and tense synth. Pierpaolo Capovilla lends his voice like a blade, slicing through the twilight with every line. You might know him from One Dimensional Man or Teatro degli Orrori. The delivery is bare, controlled, and deliberate.
There’s pressure in it – steady, threatening, unmoved, like it’s been circling for hours. It doesn’t rise or fall, it just moves forward and takes you with it. Lyrics take the shape of a ghostly “I,” drifting through the junk drawer of daily life. The language is plain, and – as you can hear – the impact isn’t. Each word stands where it belongs, stripped of filters or distractions. And under the weight of layered electronics and tight melodic lines, Niente becomes that rare thing we are looking for— a track you feel in your ribs.
Dig deeper into electronic? Walk this way
Behind Bodam Project are two names that carry history like worn denim. Giuseppe Di Maria came out of the punk trenches – Endless Noise, Bad UHF, and Crackdown – the last of which made waves across the U.S. with Rise Up. Then came a pivot: fashion, subculture, and nightlife. Mephisto Streetstyle. Alternative Undergroundz. The kind of places where basslines meet boot soles, and nothing feels fake.
Francesco Bove came out of Forlì with a habit of shifting gears – from raw percussion to finely tuned machines. Nu metal, tribal rhythms, deep electronic grooves. He played everywhere worth playing, leaving behind a trail of kick drums and flashing lights. When their paths crossed mid-gig, the connection was instant. Bodam Project was the natural outcome of two restless minds refusing to settle.
After years behind decks and drum kits, the duo is taking their hybrid sound out of the shadows. The plan? A live act built with machines that hum, instruments that breathe, and grooves that arrive fully formed, already in motion. This sound belongs to the present moment – steady, raw, charged with detail.
And it looks like formulas aren’t part of the process. What they build comes from instinct, pressure, and time spent listening. If your days feel stuck on repeat, spin something different. Find them on Facebook, Instagram, Spotify – or wherever you end up scrolling. It’s worth your time.
