Oden Fatzo Noa Mileé You Don’t Want To Think About It

What happens when a young voice shaped by jazz and soul walks into a house track built by two Frenchmen who clearly keep several strange machines awake after bedtime? In the case of Oden & Fatzo and Noa Mileé, the answer arrives with a bouncing bassline, bright electronics and a crush that keeps slipping through your fingers.

A Familiar Crew Finds New Trouble

Oden & Fatzo have spent the last few years folding house, electro, breakbeat, funk and UK garage into their own lively shape. Their 2021 breakthrough, Lauren, opened a much wider door, while releases through Defected and their own Saké Records gave them plenty of room to experiment.

Earlier this year, they joined forces with Barney Bones for My Temptations, which travelled nicely through clubs and radio across the UK, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Australia.

Meanwhile, Noa Mileé already knows her way around their musical laboratory. She previously worked with them on Only You and Fly alongside THEOS, then joined the pair during their sold-out headline show at OUTERNET in London.

That’s a kind of nice path she followed, right? You Don’t Want To Think About It arrives like the next chapter in a conversation that Oden & Fatzo and Noa Mileé have already been having for a while.

Somebody Keeps Moving the Finish Line

At its heart, the song is about wanting somebody who’s always out of reach. Perhaps most of us have visited that place, but a few people probably still receive post there. Noa brings warmth and a little ache to the topline, while Oden & Fatzo keep the production running.

While we’re all busy bouncing our heads, somebody underneath still keeps checking whether that unreachable person has finally replied. I particularly like that tension. Your feet receive one message, while your heart gets another and starts filling out the unnecessary paperwork. Even the title sounds like solid advice. Shame our brains never seem to listen. You Don’t Want To Think About It… and that’s exactly what you end up doing.

Another Glimpse of the Album

Released through Defected on 24 July 2026, the single offers another look at Oden & Fatzo’s forthcoming album and catches all three artists during a busy summer of touring.

Press play, enjoy the ride, and if that unreachable person suddenly comes to mind… don’t blame me. Keep the crush at a sensible distance, turn the volume up, and let them deal with the complicated part.
