Karen Salicath Jamali Only In Love We Are

While the world rushes off to attend meetings nobody will remember next week, I dig down for new music. Never heard guitars pitched so beautifully – like hidden menestreli playing somewhere under olive tree shadows. This time, I had the pleasure of meeting Karen Salicath Jamali again through her latest single, Only In Love We Are.

Karen Salicath Jamali and a Life Rewritten by Music

Karen’s story has the kind of turn that makes you put the coffee down. Born in Denmark, based between New York and Florida, she spent more than 30 years as a painter, sculptor, and photographer. Of course, after her training at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art. Then, after a traumatic head injury in 2012 and a long recovery, music arrived through dreams.

She had never played piano before. Then she started composing. Since 2015, that strange door has opened into thousands of compositions, multiple albums, millions of streams, and eight solo performances at Carnegie Hall. I mean… some people recover by buying a plant. But Karen came back with a whole cathedral in her head.

Only In Love We Are And the Human Touch

Only In Love We Are by Karen Salicath Jamali draws its roots from a near-death experience that changed her understanding of life. She speaks of love, light, unity, and consciousness merging into a single living truth. Her latest release takes that vision and brings it down to earth with warm and distant vocals, acoustic guitar, and gentle drums.

I listened closely, and I was hooked by the space she fills and by the simplicity of this folk dream. Her voice speaks like someone who has seen the other side of the curtain, and returned with one sentence written on the palm: only in love are we truly alive.

Only In Love We Are -A Secret revelation

Maria Triana handled the mastering duties, bringing with her more than two decades of experience with Sony Music and a career connected to recordings by some of the world’s most celebrated artists. Meanwhile, Karen Salicath Jamali steps further into the light as a vocalist, giving her message a human voice and opening a new vocal chapter that feels deeply personal and heartfelt.

If I had to place Only In Love We Are into a certain frame, I would picture it as a secret revelation slipping out from behind a velvety curtain. All you need is to free your senses and feel it.

Follow Karen Salicath Jamali

We’ve crossed paths with Karen Salicath Jamali‘s music a few times over the years, from Dreams of Angels to Angel Haniel’s Clearing and Angel Gabriel’s Light. Each release opened a different window into her creative world. Only In Love We Are adds another chapter to that journey, and something tells me we haven’t reached the final page yet.

We’ve followed Karen Salicath Jamali‘s journey for a while now, and I have a feeling we’ll be meeting again somewhere down the road. Until then, her Linktree is a good place to begin your own adventure.
