Dale Hart On The Run EP

I’ve been around electronic music long enough to recognise an upward slope when I see one – and Dale Hart is climbing it like a pro. From the 90s noisetalgia still rattling somewhere in my system to today’s club mechanics, I’ve heard enough loops pretending to be stories. Then On The Run EP shows up, and things shift a few degrees in the right direction.

Dale Hart unveils three originals – Deep Dreams, Keep On, and On The Run, all driven by control, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of movement.

The grooves come in easy, and you get caught before you even realise what’s going on. Then JAYC steps in on the remix of On The Run. As the co-founder and signed artist of Subsoil Records, his version takes the original in a slightly different direction, adding his own touch while keeping the core intact. Functional, direct, and bounce-ready – exactly how he’s been doing things from the start.

Dale Hart in His Own Flow

Just to be clear, On The Run is the natural result of a path you can hear from start to finish. Dale already carved his name through releases on Moxy Muzik, INLV, Hottrax, elrow Limited, Moody Disco, Metafloor, and DENSER. His I’m So High EP hit #1 on Beatport’s Minimal/Deep Tech chart and pushed into the all-genres rankings. He got there through consistency, release by release.

Before going solo, the Hart & Neenan chapter get the groundwork ready, with releases across respected labels and support from important selectors – Jamie Jones, Archie Hamilton, Darius Syrossian, Prunk, wAFF. That kind of backing comes from DJs putting it into their sets.

Ibiza played its part too. DC-10, loud systems – these places where tracks either live or get forgotten fast.

Subsoil Records and Dale Hart

This second link with Subsoil Records feels aligned. The EP has its own weight – low-end pressure, textured layers, and space around it. I felt that link between artist and label straight away, like an ongoing process: Dale Hart keeps building the structure, while Subsoil Records keeps placing the right bricks.

Dale Hart is one of the UK’s most exciting emerging talents right now, and On The Run makes that clear. All you have to do next is give it a spin and trust your ears. Find more about Dale Hart and what’s coming next right here.
