OGGY Help Me Find a Reason

“In Uncertain Times, There Is a Reason To Keep Moving Forward”

I played Help Me Find a Reason by OGGY while doing something else, then realised I’d stopped doing that other thing. I let it run once, then again, and didn’t feel the need to justify that. Further on, it becomes your turn to arrive at the same feeling.

Written and performed as a solo effort, the track holds the weight of personal reflection without collapsing inward. The lyric starts where a lot of people already are. Searching, listening, standing still while the world keeps moving. Lines like “Help me find a reason to move the mountain” go straight and spectacle-free, and that’s where I felt the whole pulse.

Eyes Forward, No Detours

The lyric video puts the song face to face with the listener. OGGY walks through the city looking straight into the camera, and the effect is immediate. The song stops being background and turns into a face-to-face confrontation. What works is the restraint. The lyrics just stand there and mean what they say. It mirrors the song’s core message: keep moving, stay present, and don’t look away.

What struck me here is restraint. It feels designed to move forward, step by step, rather than rush toward a payoff.

A New Chapter Taking Shape

OGGY’s story begins with discipline. Raised in Croatia, shaped early by self-teaching, she built her foundation on guitar, piano, and the habit of showing up ready. London did the rest. Long rooms, real stages, studio hours, radio work – enough repetition to learn what holds and what falls away.

She moves comfortably between songwriting, session work, and live performance, carrying a pop core with rock edges and piano-led instincts when things need space. Her background in broadcast and media gives her another angle.
