Moguai

MOGUAI is a long-standing figure in electronic music, with a career spanning more than two decades across production, live performance, and radio.

He’s born in Germany’s Ruhr region and now based between Berlin and Los Angeles. Moguai emerged from the early 1990s underground rave scene and developed into an internationally recognised DJ and producer. His work bridges electro house, techno, and indie dance, maintaining a consistent focus on clarity, structure, and dancefloor functionality.

Over the years, MOGUAI has collaborated with a wide range of artists. Here including Fatboy Slim, Tiësto, Robin Schulz, Benny Benassi, and Oliver Heldens. His production and remix catalogue is also impressive. Includes work for artists such as Moby, Underworld, and Beyoncé, reflecting both reach and adaptability across different areas of electronic and mainstream music.

His release Mammoth, created with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, remains one of the most recognised festival tracks of its era. All this between multiple Beatport chart placements and continued releases on labels such as Mau5trap, Axtone, and Heldeep.

Alongside his studio work, MOGUAI has maintained a strong connection to radio. His weekly shows have been broadcast internationally for many years. It reaches audiences in over 40 countries and offering a curated selection of current and upcoming electronic releases.
