I’ve been chasing sounds since the ’90s – back when mixtapes were currency, dance floors were sanctuaries, and radio was where you discovered your next obsession. The road to Flav Gabry and IndieDose? I started out producing hip-hop and dance, writing for other artists, and running radio shows back home in Romania. Then life happened, and I stepped away for a while.
Fast forward to now: I’m deep back in the game. I run Groover City, where we hunt down stories behind the music, dig through the noise, and give independent artists a proper stage. Previously, there were Radio Dancebandada and Bla Bla Radio – both of which paved the way for what Groover City has become today.
I also produce my own tracks – house, techno, trance, and now my darker, moodier project Shodaw. IndieDose is my personal playground. Think of it as a monthly dive into indie chaos – fresh cuts, hidden gems, and conversations with artists who make music because they have to, not because it’s easy.
