JITTER: A Hip-Hop Revolution from Namibia

In the blazing heat of Windhoek’s creative hotspots, Proklaim stands tall, dropping rhymes like a giant. He did it again! This track is called JITTER, and stands out as a first whisper, as a continued roar. Having delved into Proklaim‘s previous tracks before, we’ve witnessed the evolution of a sound that refuses to echo the predictable.  In the same time, he’s a fast-growing global pulse in the hip-hop scene.

JITTER clutched in his artistic grasp. Released as the world said goodbye to 2024, this track it’s a notch in the belt of hip-hop. And I like it even more, because it’s a fiery declaration from Birungi Alexander Kiremire, the mind and voice behind Proklaim music. Collaborating with Wojtek Majewski at Audio Art Namibia, Proklaim mixes the traditional with the transformative, mastering a sound that’s fresh and full of energy.

Proklaim JITTER: The Beat Behind the Buzz

Imagine finding a beat so exciting it pulls you straight into the studio. As a fellow artist, I’ve felt that surge of inspiration many times – it’s an incredible feeling. If you’re not paying attention, this song might just sound like a clever arrangement of rhymes. But lean in, because this is a man dropping wisdom with a steady pen and a sharp tongue. A sermon, a manifesto, and maybe even a slap to anyone snoozing on the grind.

“I take notes from the one who really paid with life” – Proklaim – JITTER

They don’t really want to pay when it’s time for the sacrifice.” That’s how Proklaim opens his lyrical trench – and yeah, he’s calling people out. It’s that age-old gripe about folks who want the glory without the guts. The results without the work. Sacrifice, he says, is part of the deal – it’s the ticket to get in. And he’s not just talking about cash or clout. He’s talking about real payment. The blood, sweat, and soul that separate the pretenders from the players.

Proklaim JITTER
Birungi Alexander Kiremire a.k.a. Proklaim – Reflective, almost reverent, but still firmly grounded in his own hustle.

I’ve been following the best advice, I take notes from the one who really paid with life.” Boom. Just like that, Proklaim pulls you deeper. This is not like some YouTube mentor or the hottest self-help podcast. He’s tipping his hat to the ultimate sacrifice, the kind that’s written into spiritual history. It’s reflective, almost reverent, but still firmly grounded in his own hustle.

So what’s the message of JITTER? It’s a call to arms for anyone ready to stop dreaming and start doing. A reminder that the grind isn’t glamorous, but it’s worth it. Proklaim’s words hit like a double shot of espresso. They’re raw, unfiltered and real. JITTER shows you what it looks like when someone lives the hustle. So, grab a pen, pay the price, and write your own divine page. Proklaim already left the blueprint.

Proklaim: Hip-Hop’s New Horizon

With JITTER, Proklaim spits verses with nerve and devotion, spelling out his vision. I gave this track a first listen, and saw it as a beautifully unsettling peace offensive against a brutally tough world. It’s a call to arms for hip-hop, a genre too often shackled by the same old beats and brags. And I feel Proklaim’s approach a little bit different. It’s bold. It’s raw. “I want to see hip-hop do more, say more,Proklaim explains. “We’ve got the mic, so let’s make it count. Let’s shake up the scene and wake up the world.

In JITTER, Proklaim carries a clear message: real music, real messages, and a real revolution in hip-hop start when artists like Proklaim grab the beat by the reins and ride it into the unknown.
