Eileen Carey And This Is Where Begin Again

Scientists said that breakups often leave people feeling like the only survivor of a small emotional shipwreck. Then somebody writes a song about the same mess, and suddenly the things are getting back on track: the wreck has snacks, company and a lovely chorus. The thing is… a breakup song can validate the feelings we struggle to explain. Slightly macabre entertainment, perhaps, but surprisingly useful.

She has also shared stages with Don McLean, Rita Coolidge, Jefferson Starship and The Motels. Her live shows bring line dancing, singalongs and standing ovations, which sounds considerably healthier than staring into a pint.
