DJ Xevan Sets The Groove On: A Tech House Feel For Motion

On 13th December 2025, people were probably wrestling with Christmas lists, freezer space, and some strange moral collapse that happens near the cheese aisle. Meanwhile, Radek Ehl, known as DJ Xevan, had other plans: groove on, movement, and this tech-house release with enough bounce to remind us that December can also belong to dancers.

Groove On marks DJ Xevan’s first official release on Spotify. And that’s not something to leave small-printed once you listen to the track carefully. DJ Xevan has made music since 2010, back in Holland. He played clubs, then moved to Serbia in 2017 and stepped away to focus on family life. Now, from Novi Sad, he just comes back with this amazing track built at home in FL Studio.

From Hiatus to the Dancefloor

I like the way he tackled this project. DJ Xevan didn’t rush for the kind of mythical studio with gold walls, or some other form of industry theatre. He is just a producer coming back after years away, putting hours into a groovy tech house cut and hoping people feel it. Fair enough. It worked on my end.

The track points straight for the body: smooth enough for an empty motorway, punchy enough for a small stage, and warm enough to make my speakers start a new chat with my neighbours. DJ Xevan mentions Tiesto and Boris Brejcha as influences, and I completely feel them around this production: there’s structure, drama, and motion all around.

Rules, Broken Properly

His quote explains the whole mindset pretty well: “To truly understand music, we must learn the rules. To create music, we must break them.” I’ll be damned if it’s not true. Thumbs-up again for someone thinking this way, learning the machine and then kicking it gently until it dances. With possible Exit Festival talks ahead and more similar projects planned, DJ Xevan looks ready to jump behind the decks again. And honestly, that’s good news – every dancefloor on Earth still has room for one more believer.
