Groover City is an independent UK-based music publication run by Flavian Nastasa. The platform focuses on thoughtful coverage of new music, emerging artists, and selected established acts, with an emphasis on editorial integrity and human curation.

How I Listen

“I listen to each song as if it were mine. I trace it backwards – asking why those choices were made, what moment sparked the first idea, what feeling pushed it toward its final shape. I pay attention to the instrumentation, the silences, the decisions that might go unnoticed at first listen.

I sit with it until the sound feels tangible, until the world behind it starts to reveal itself. Only then do I write.“
